I take the lack of at least 1 nomination for Not The Cosby’s XXX via the “Urban X Awards” very seriously, and I’ll be writing a few blogs about it this week.
Once again it’s a case of African-Americans not supporting other African-Americans – when is it gonna stop?
I received MANY emails about the lack of mention of The Not the Cosby flick through my myspace and general email (of which I will be posting on my blogs). Most of the emails were from my BLACK fans. I am very disappointed in the Urban X Awards people.
I hope next year they step it up with more categories and actually take some time to really research what movies should receive mention/nomination rather than just taking cue from where their sponsorship comes from. But then again why should the Urban X awards be any less political than the other awards shows. Sad.”
