-Fue
un embarazo muy deseado, nació con ocho meses. Recuerdo que estábamos
en casa de Miguel Bosé cuando empecé a dar a luz. También me acuerdo de

puso a buscar por internet. Así dio con aquel vídeo de Youtube en

niño. Se lo enseñó a Violeta para ver lo que opinaba. Sólo tenía seis
años. «Me dijo: ‘Mamá, yo tengo el mismo problema, sólo que al revés: mi cabeza me dice que soy una niña’».
Vinieron
las consultas al psicólogo, el ir contándole a la familia y, por
supuesto, tachán, aquel primer día de cole con ropa de niña.
Un vestido vaquero de flores y tirantes.
Unos zapatos de bailarina.
El pupitre de siempre.
El alumno, no.
«Quedaban
10 días para que acabara el curso y yo le dije que era mejor que
terminara yendo como un chico y que ya se vistiera como una niña al
siguiente… Ella me dijo que nunca más iría con ropa de niño. Yo
le argumenté que se iban a reír de ella. Entonces, con una madurez
pasmosa, me contestó: ‘A mí me da igual lo que me digan, yo sé muy bien
lo que soy’».
Y así fue Violeta al colegio.
Y entró a clase.
Y nunca más Ignacio volvió.
«Cuando
era un niño, era un niño muy feliz, pero cuando fue niña… uf…
Cuando le vi de niña me di cuenta de que lo anterior no había sido
verdadera felicidad».

Cómo
será la intencionalidad pedagógica del documental que sus creadores
solicitaron al Instituto Catalán de Empresas Culturales que la cinta

sido cinco años de travesía. Es algo abusivo», recuerda Franceska. «Nos
propusieron que le pusiéramos de nombre Alex, porque era más neutro,
pero nuestra hija no se llama así… Por ese motivo nos denegaron la
documentación la primera vez. Como si fuera un capricho nuestro».
